The Planning Inspectorate has together with GoPro Consulting been building a new online appeals service and case management based on the Canalix business optimization platform for regulatory enforcement and inspections optimisation.  

Alongside a new online appeals portal, the system will provide data and rules driven case work automation and support for the planning and performing of related inspections. 

By the end of the month the service will be going live for cases falling within in a selected number of local authorities.
